This is Silver Granola and today i gonna talk about The National Treasure of Mariejois.
So, according to Doffy's plan in Manga Chapter 761 / Episode 700 if the Ope Ope No Mi in his possession, he would utilize the National Treasure to control the world.
He needs the "Perpetual Life Surgery" that will give him a eternal life in order to obtain that national treasure.
Did you guys Remember Fishmen Island Arc ?
The national treasure of Ryugu Kingdom that have been passed down through generations.
Yeah, the Tamate Box.
It content has been stolen 10 years ago by Hordy Jones which he embraced it as energy steroids.
The user of that pills will become old due to its side effect.
If we relate it to the national treasure of Mariejois and the intention of Doffy to get hold of Ope Ope No Mi.
There's a connection isn't ?
So the question is that the national treasure in Mariejois that Doffy wants is the same one as the content of Tamate Box ?
It's probably yes and it's probably not.
Why I'm saying no cuz there's other theory that could deny the theory up there 👆.
So, what "thing" that leads to the chaos in one piece world ?
It may the existence of Devil Fruit Tree !
There are a lot of devil fruit user out there and it's very familiar in one piece world but the source of devil fruit is still unknown to the rest of the world.
This existence may cuz many conflict in One Piece World.
That's why the World Government (Celestial Dragon & Gorosei) keep it secret from the rest of the world.
Anyways, Each person can only consume one devil fruit at one time otherwise they'll be dead !
And what if Doffy get the Ope Ope No Mi back then and obtain the eternal life (immortality) ?
Most likely, he will use that devil fruit tree to choose any power that he want (more than 1 devil fruits) since he's not gonna be dead !
And if the content of national treasure is "energy steroid", Doffy will never get older if he had performing the perpetual life surgery.
With that powers that he obtain, he can rampaging all over the Mariejois and take over the world.
It's much make sense since the devil fruit were considered as the treasure of the sea or the treasure of grand line since the first series of One Piece !

The other proves is in the Enies Lobby Arc.
When Spandam gave Kaku & Kalifa the Soap and Giraffe devil fruit as their rewards.
He had been questioned by Jabura where did he got those 2 devil fruits.
He calmly reply that he have some sort of "connection".
It also might be from the underworld community which is black market.
But in this cases, of course from the world government since he was the chief of CP-9 at that time which directly has a connection with the gorosei and the other members of world government.
Meanwhile if we look back at all the current or previous admiral, all of them possessed a strong or rare devil fruit type.
Such as Admiral Fujitora, in Dressrosa Arc he claimed that "he just testing his power".
Does it mean he got his power right after he became the admiral ?
From the way that he spoke, it seems that his own power is still new even for himself.
That's why he tested it on them.
From another source of theory, it said that his gravitational power was from his own sword.
Why ?
Also in Enies Lobby arc, Spandam has a sword were named as Funkfreed. A sword which has a zoan devil fruit type : elephant.
It seems Fujitora has been chosen as a admiral based on his own capabilities (master in haki & swordsman) and later the world government gave him a sword that have a power of gravitational devil fruit.
Cuz as far as we can see, he only can activate his gravitational power by using his sword.
Since the WG has ruling the world for 800 years, they must have seen various type of devil fruit and somehow acquired a method how to transfer the abilities of the devil fruit to a weapon.
That's why there's a encyclopedia about devil fruit.
It might be the WG has gave a lot of devil fruit to the other people to test it in past but then the user were dead and it doesn't respawn at the devil fruit tree but somewhere in the world or the nearby fruit randomly.
That's why there's a lot of devil fruit around the world.
Deeper information about devil fruit later will be explain by Doctor Vegapunk, the greatest scientific genius has ever known in the world.
He's the one who figure out the secret of devil fruit, their weakness and how they works.
